Accounting website design that turns visitors into booked consultations

Most accounting firm websites list services and stop there. We build the parts that actually generate work: clear service pages per specialism, a secure enquiry route, and credentials where prospects look for them. Fixed price, no retainer.

Quick answers

Accounting Websites, in short

The questions people ask before anything else.

How much does an accounting firm website cost?
Ours start at $1,499 one-time. The accounting-specific providers that dominate this market sell monthly plans instead — published 2026 rates start around $76–$86 per month with no setup fee. That is cheaper on day one and more expensive by roughly month eighteen, and at the end of it the site is still theirs, not yours. Custom builds from general agencies typically start around $2,500–$5,000. We sit deliberately between the two.
How long does it take?
Two to four weeks from the point your content is ready. Practices that already have service descriptions and bios land nearer two; waiting on copy is the usual cause of delay.
Do you work with bookkeepers and tax preparers too?
Yes. The build is the same; the structure differs. Bookkeeping practices usually sell on packages and software fluency, tax preparers on seasonal deadlines and turnaround, CPA firms on specialisms and credentials. We scope which of the three you are.
Can I update it myself afterwards?
Yes. Sites are built in Framer with the native editor, so changing fees, adding a team member or posting a deadline reminder needs no developer. We include a handover walkthrough.

The starting point

What usually brings people here

If several of these sound familiar, this is the right service.

What is happening now

  • The site lists “Tax, Audit, Advisory” and nothing that explains who you actually serve.
  • Credentials and licence details are buried on an About page instead of where trust is decided.
  • The only contact route is a generic form that clients hesitate to put financial detail into.
  • Every competing firm in town has the same stock imagery and the same three service boxes.

What should happen instead

  • A page per specialism, so someone searching for one of them can land directly on it.
  • Credentials, licences and professional memberships placed next to the services they qualify.
  • An enquiry route that sets expectations about what to send and what happens next.
  • A design that looks like your practice rather than a template gallery.

Qualification

Who this is for

We would rather you self-select out now than three weeks into the wrong project.

A good fit if

  • You are an accounting, CPA, bookkeeping or tax practice with 1–20 staff.
  • You want a site you own outright, without a monthly marketing retainer.
  • You can supply service descriptions and team bios, or want them scoped as copywriting.

Probably not the right fit if

  • You need bookkeeping software built — that is MVP & SaaS Development.
  • You want an ongoing content and ranking programme — that is SEO, Conversion & Performance.
  • You only want an existing template set up in your brand — that is Template Customization, and it is cheaper.

Scope

What you actually receive

Grouped by stage, so you can see where the work goes.

Structure

  • Home, About, Contact and a page per service specialism
  • Team and credentials pages with professional body memberships
  • Optional pricing or packages page
  • Client-portal login linked from the header where you already run one

Conversion

  • Enquiry form scoped to what you need before a first call
  • Booking link or calendar embed
  • Clear next-step wording so prospects know what happens after they submit
  • Phone and location details in the header on mobile

Technical

  • Responsive across phone, tablet and desktop
  • Titles, descriptions, headings and alt text set per page
  • LocalBusiness and Service structured data
  • Form submissions delivered to an inbox you control

Launch

  • Final QA pass
  • Domain connection and launch assistance
  • Handover walkthrough so your team can edit it

The project

How the project runs

  1. Brief

We establish which practice you are — CPA firm, bookkeeping practice or tax preparer — and which specialisms deserve their own page.

  2. Structure

Page map agreed before any design work, so the service pages match how you actually sell.

  3. Design

Design applied to your real content, not placeholder copy and stock portraits.

  4. Build

Built in Framer, responsive checked, forms wired and tested end to end.

  5. Launch

Domain connected, QA pass, and a handover so your team can maintain it.

Accounting Websites questions

The things people ask before committing.

At minimum: a home page that names who you serve, one page per service specialism, a team page carrying credentials, and a contact route. The service pages matter most — they are what someone searching for a specific need can land on, and a single combined “Services” page cannot rank for all of them.

The structure differs. CPA firms usually need specialism pages and prominent licensing; bookkeeping practices sell on packages, software fluency and turnaround; tax preparers need seasonal messaging and deadline visibility. Same build, different page map — decided at brief stage.

We link to it prominently — header, footer and the relevant service pages. We do not build or replace the portal itself; those are handled by your practice software, and putting a login where clients expect it is what actually matters.

Not from us. The build is one-time and you own the site. Framer hosting is billed to your own account, which keeps you in control of both the site and the billing. Ongoing help is available separately if you want it, but nothing here requires it.

We place and structure the copy you supply as standard. Copywriting can be scoped on top — say so at brief stage. For regulated claims about qualifications and services, we will always ask you to review the final wording.

Often, yes, and it is the cheaper answer. If you are comfortable placing your own content, our accounting templates start well below this service. This page is for firms that want the structure decided and the build done for them.
